Open Figure Drawing is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to drawing from life. Since 1989, we’ve provided a space for Syracuse artists to gather, observe, experiment, and develop their practice together. All levels of experience are welcome. Weekly sessions at Delavan Studios.
BULLETIN BOARD
There are significant changes to our Calendar, starting immediately. Wednesdays remain unchanged.
There are no more Gesture Drawing sessions.
The next Saturday Morning Figure Drawing session is on September 5, 10 am to 1 pm.
There are now 2 sessions a month, on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays.The next Portrait Drawing session is Thursday, September 10, 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Every Thursday session is $10.
OFD's Long Pose (clothed) session is on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
We have a Speed Drawing session on Thursday, September 17, from 7 - 9 pm.
We have a Long Pose (nude) session on Sunday, September 20, 12 - 3 pm.
The Just Desserts Art Guild show is hanging though Thursday, September 10, 2026.
The 2025 Group Shows catalog is now available for $25 each.
