Modeling as a Profession
or
The Secrets of Posing
A Roundtable for
Artists & Models
——
Presented by Open Figure Drawing Inc.

Tuesday September 28, 2009, 7 pm − 9 pm
at Jowonio School
3049 E. Genesee St.
across from Nottingham High School. Look for the green Jowonio banner on the building. Park in the rear. Enter through the doors in the center rear. Go downstairs to the Enrich room. Pam McGrath will be set up in the Social Workers Conference room.

New models, experienced models, artists, and all with interest are invited to the annual fall roundtable. It is free of charge, as a service from OFD Inc.

We will have a few copies of The Art Model's Handbook: The Naked Truth about Posing for Art Classes and Fine Artists by Andrew Cahner (available in paperback on Amazon.com) for you to view. It is a REAL account of what models do and it is perfect for discussion starters.

We will also discuss the Washington DC model guild, where they have regularly scheduled meetings and training, big listings of modeling oportunities, and have a classical reference guide book with hundreds of pictures of artwork showing what models could do.

Come and meet other models and network! Schedule bookings! Snacks will be provided.
